5-star hotels in Lisbon
A shortlist of 5-star hotels in Lisbon, chosen from 15 places with guest ratings of 4.7 or higher and up to 3,693 reviews. It is for travellers who want the highest class of stay, whether for a short break, a couple's trip or a family visit.
Staying in Lisbon
Lisbon is a city of hills, tiled façades and river views, where the Tagus runs along the south side and the old districts climb above it. Visitors come for the light, the seafood, the trams and the walkable centre, with beaches a short trip away. These 5-star hotels sit in several parts of the city: several on or near Avenida Da Liberdade, one by the river at Parque das Nações, others in Alfama and Lapa, and one further north on Avenida Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco.
The addresses put guests in the historic centre around Rua 1 De Dezembro and Largo Do Corpo Santo, on the main avenue, or by the water. Couples get quiet terraces and river-facing balconies, families have babysitting services at many of the hotels, and business travellers find conference halls and business centres. For a short break, the central addresses and the Avenida Da Liberdade options keep sights, restaurants and the river within a compact area.
